The short version
We do not sell leads or calculator data. You can use the calculator without giving us your name, email address, or phone number.
What the calculator uses
The calculator uses your ZIP code, electric bill, home size, number of stories, and any optional address you enter to create an estimate. Your result is kept in your browser session. We do not turn these details into a homeowner lead or send them to solar installers.
Optional address lookup
If you enter an address, it may be sent to mapping services to look for a roof outline. The address is used for that calculation and is not saved as a lead.
Basic site analytics
We use analytics to understand things like page visits and whether the calculator works. Analytics services may receive technical details such as your device type, browser, IP address, referring page, and visit time. We do not intentionally send your address, ZIP code, electric bill, or home size in analytics events.
Services that help run the site
We use service providers for website hosting, analytics, maps, weather, electricity data, and solar data. These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. We use them to operate the website—not to build or sell marketing lists.
