Partner handoff checklist

What an installer needs to approve a branded calculator.

This is a practical preview checklist—not an agreement or a promise of leads. It keeps the homeowner journey, brand use, and measurement clear before anything goes live.

1

Approve the collaboration

Confirm that the calculator can be presented as a tool for your company and identify one person who can approve brand and wording changes.

2

Share approved brand assets

Provide a logo file, primary colors, preferred company name, service-area language, and any required brand rules. SolarSavings does not use any logo or trademark before written approval.

3

Choose the visitor handoff

Decide whether a ready homeowner should visit your quote page, use your preferred contact form, or be routed to a dedicated team inbox. The final path is your choice.

4

Review the live preview

Check the calculator wording, disclosures, service-area context, and the request flow on desktop and mobile before your link is shared.

5

Use one useful, trackable link

Place a clear on-site link such as “Solar Savings Calculator” or “Free Solar Estimate” where homeowners are already researching solar. A unique partner link makes visits, calculator starts, and opted-in requests measurable. The link should be offered because the calculator is useful to visitors—not as an SEO scheme.

What the homeowner sees

A useful estimate first, then an opt-in next step.

The calculator should not impersonate an installer or make guaranteed-savings claims. It explains the inputs, shows planning results, and uses an approved handoff only when the homeowner chooses to continue.
